VEREN AS AN ECO FRIENDLY SOLUTION
Read about how bottled water brands are exhausting California water and why Veren is different
Gwyneth Paltrow has been recently advocating to support the campaign to stop bottle water brands exhausting ground water supplies in California:
It’s no secret that California is in the midst of a terrifying and ominous water crisis: In a recent Op-Ed by a senior scientist at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory/Caltech, it was intimated that the state has enough water for one year. Yep, 12 months. (Apparently it’s not quite as dire as that.) But it’s dire enough that it’s pretty disappointing that bottled water companies are extracting a reported 250 million gallons of water a year from the Cabazon Water District and then bottling it. David Dayen did a great piece on Salon explaining the whole f’ed up situation, and Courage Campaign has set up a petition to stop it.
Veren does not take its water from the ground and offers a great alternative to exhausting ground water supplies in the long term.
